Cook Time: 8 hours (freezing)
Total Time: 8 hours 15 minutes
Servings: 4–6
Ingredients:
1 bottle (750 ml) dry rosé wine, chilled
2 cups strawberries, hulled and sliced, frozen
1/3 cup granulated sugar
1/3 cup water
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
Optional: 2–4 tablespoons vodka
Optional garnish: strawberry slices and lemon wheels
Instructions:
Pour rosé into a shallow dish; freeze 6–8 hours until mostly solid. Freeze sliced strawberries in a single layer until firm.
Heat sugar and water in a small saucepan, stirring until dissolved. Cool, then chill the simple syrup.
Add frozen rosé, frozen strawberries, chilled simple syrup, lemon juice, and optional vodka to a blender. Blend until smooth and slushy.
Taste and adjust with more simple syrup for sweetness or a splash of water for a looser texture.
Pour the slush into a shallow dish or container and freeze 20–30 minutes until slightly firmer, stirring once.
Quickly blend again to smooth, then pour into chilled glasses. Garnish with strawberries and lemon, and serve immediately.

Notes

Pro Tip:
For an extra-refreshing batch, freeze the strawberries on a tray instead of using bagged frozen fruit, so they stay separate and blend into a lighter, fluffier slush.
