Matcha Hot Chocolate

Ingredients:
2 teaspoons matcha powder
2 tablespoons hot water (about 80°C / 175°F)
2 cups (480 ml) milk of choice
60 g white chocolate, finely chopped
1–2 tablespoons sugar, honey, or maple syrup (to taste)
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
Pinch of fine sea salt (optional)
Whipped cream or milk foam, for topping (optional)
Extra matcha or grated white chocolate, for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
Sift matcha into a small bowl, add hot water, and whisk until smooth and frothy.
Gently heat milk in a saucepan until steaming but not boiling.
Add chopped white chocolate and stir until fully melted and smooth.
Stir in sweetener, vanilla, and a small pinch of salt to taste.
Whisk a little hot milk into the matcha, then return matcha mixture to the pan and whisk until evenly combined.
Pour into mugs, top with whipped cream or foam, garnish with matcha or chocolate, and serve immediately.
