Ingredients:
3 cups frozen strawberries
1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and halved
120 ml (4 fl oz) white rum
60 ml (2 fl oz) fresh lime juice
60 ml (¼ cup) simple syrup, or to taste
2 cups ice cubes
30–60 ml (2–4 tablespoons) cold water, as needed
Extra strawberries and lime slices, for garnish
Granulated sugar, for rimming glasses (optional)
Instructions:
Sugar-rim and chill the glasses; prepare strawberry and lime garnishes.
Add rum, lime juice, and simple syrup to the blender.
Add frozen and fresh strawberries on top of the liquids.
Add ice and blend from low to high until thick and slushy, adding a little cold water if needed.
Taste and adjust sweetness, lime, or rum, then blend briefly again.
Pour into chilled glasses, garnish with strawberries and lime, and serve immediately.
