Strawberry Margarita Slush

Ingredients:
3 cups fresh or frozen strawberries, hulled
3 cups ice cubes
1 cup tequila blanco
½ cup triple sec or Cointreau
½ cup freshly squeezed lime juice
¼–½ cup simple syrup or agave nectar, to taste
¼ cup cold water, only if needed
Pinch of salt (optional)
Coarse salt or sugar, for rimming glasses
Lime wedges and fresh strawberries, for garnish
Instructions:
Rim margarita glasses with lime and dip in coarse salt or sugar; set aside.
Add strawberries, ice, tequila, triple sec, lime juice, ¼ cup sweetener, and salt to blender.
Blend until thick and slushy, adding a little cold water only if needed to help blend.
Taste and adjust sweetness or lime juice, then blend briefly again.
Pour slush into prepared glasses, filling almost to the top.
Garnish with lime wedges and strawberries, and serve immediately while icy.
